The Arabian Horse Association of Queensland Inc was established in 1969 to provide a united voice for breeders and owners of Arabian Horses in Queensland. The charter of the AHAQ Inc is to assist in the promotion of the Breed to the wider horse owning population and to this end holds several events each year. Our flagship is the Queensland Arabian Challenge Show held annually on the May Day Long Weekend. This AA rated show attracts entries from all over Australia and is a must do event on any serious competitors schedule.
The day to day affairs, including finances, business descisions, holding and running of events, promotion and membership records of the AHAQ Inc are managed by the AHAQ Inc Management Committee. The Committee is elected by financial members at the Annual General Meeting.
