Our Committee
The day to day affairs, including finances, business descisions, holding and running of events, promotion and membership records of the AHAQ Inc are managed by the AHAQ Inc Management Committee. The Committee is elected by financial members at the Annual General Meeting. There are 12 postions on the committee and each person is elected to the committee for a period of 2 years. To ensure continuity of direction only half of the committee is re-elected each year so that there is at least 6 people continuing into the next year. Financial members are eligible to stand for election and to vote. Committee meetings are held monthly on the first Tuesday in a central location in Fortitude Valley. Committee members currently come from as far afield as Nambour in the North, Toowoomba in the west and Maclean in the South. All members are entitled to attend the general meetings to see first hand the running of the Group and to have some input into descisions that are made.
