 The AHAQ Inc proudly presents the 2008 Queensland Arabian Challenge Show May 2nd, 3rd and 4th - the May Day long weekend - at Toowoomba Showgrounds.
Once agagin the big white tents will be raised in centre ring for a weekend of competition, fun, shopping and entertainment.
A full AA Class Show Program and featuring Furneys Rural Trade Show Friday night. Liberty Classes Saturday Night and the Challenge Stallion Service Futurity classes Sunday Night together with the 2008 Auction and the judging of the Supreme exhibits of the show.

 The committee of the AHAQ Inc sincerley thanks all who helped stage this year's Challenge Show. To bring you 3 full days and nights of competition is a mamoth task and one requiring a large pool of helpers and workers. We would not have managed without our helpers.

 What a weekend! Beautiful clear, warm days, progressively colder nights, the biggest classes for some time, top competition in all sections, a shopping emporium filled to overflowing and hundreds of spectators - a great way to celebrate our release from EI!

The 2008 Challenge Photography Competition has been cancelled due to lack of entries. The committee realises that lead time was rather short andwishes to thank those who did enter. The competition will be run again for next year's show so get out there and get snapping.

The timetable for classes at the 2008 Qld Arabian Challenge show is now available under Downloads. With over 1,000 individual class entries, 275 horses and the biggest youth contingent for some time, this year's show is the biggest for a very long time.  Southern Cross Ten is a new sponsor of the Queensland Arabian Challenge Show and will be airing a series of adds from this Sunday 27th April on their Channel 10 network, Toowoomba advertising the show and inviting the locals to come along and see our Arabian horses in action. The committee advises that Mr Bruce Flood who was contracted to adjudicate in the the Saddle Ring at the 2008 Qld Arabian Challenge Show is unable to fulfill his commitment due to health reasons.
We welcome Cathy Padget from NSW who has graciously accepted the assignment on such notice. Cathy is a National Panel Judge and a current EFA judge. Please read her profile on the judges list article.

Entry to the 2008 Challenge Photography Competition has been extended until the 15th April.
There are 3 divisions in the competition Adults Amateur, Youth and Professionls. Winning entries from each section will be published in the Australian Arabian Horse News. Vink publishing are sponsoring the event. Read on for conditions and entry details.
