Queensland Arabians

Progeny resulting from the use of the service are eligible to compete in the Challenge Stallion Auction Futurity Classes at the Qld Arabian Challenge Show. The first acution was held in 2006 and the resulting progeny competed in the Futurity class at the 2008 Qld Arabian Challenge Show with a purse of $2,000.  These same progeny competed in the Futurity yearling classes for Fillies and Colt or Gelding, each class carrying a purse of $2,000 at the 2009 Qld Arabian Challenge Show. The auction itself is the primary source of revenue for the futurity classes with more than 60% of the auction proceeds returned as prizemoney.
