We would like to welcome you to the 3rd Annual Challenge Stallion Service Auction! We will be auctioning off one service breeding to each nominated Stallion - some of the most prestigious Arabians in the industry. We would like to thank you for your support of the Challenge Stallion Auction & Futurity.
This program has been very exciting for the Arabian breed and has proven to be very exciting as well for the Arabian Challenge Show.
The Auction is open to everyone! All successful bidders will have the opportunity to nominate a mare into the Auction Class and compete for the prize money on offer in 2010 and 2011! The Auction will allow Arabian horse enthusiasts the opportunity to purchase breedings to outstanding stallions in the industry, the owners will then go on to show the resulting foals in a special Auction Class only open to the resulting foals of the Auction breeding. The Auction itself is the primary source of revenue for the Challenge Stallion Halter Futurity.
I would like to thank all of the stallion owners for their support of this program and for helping get it off the ground, but more importantly to you the Arabian horse breeders! Your support of the Arabian horse is imperative to the success of the breed and it is you who will help direct the future.

Anticipation was high as the 2008 auction commenced following the 2006 Weanling classes. First up was Baranski owned by jangharm Arabians. He was presented on the night by Richard Sharman and showed why he stood the 2007 unanamous Australian National Champion stallion.

Natham Park Psychedellik by Sadiks Psyche from Nalla Al Lamika won the first Challenge Stallion Auction futurity class for weanlings from the 2006 auction at the 2008 Challenge show. She won $1,200 for her excited owner Yvonne Barlow.

 Eagleridge Arabian's bay stallion Khamsin ERA joins an impressive lineup at the 2008 Challenge Stallion Auction.
The auction will be held in centre ring at 6.30pm Sunday the 4th May at the 2008 Qld Arabian Challenge Show.

 The reigning Australian National Champion stallion Baranski is among the lineup of stallions available in the 2008 Challenge Stallion Auction.
Owned by Jangharm Arabians, Baranski will be represented in the very first Challenge Stallion Futurity Weanling class at this year's Qld Arabian Challenge Show.

Stallion Roster for the 2008 Challenge Stallion Service Auction
All foals born in the 2009 Season by any 2008 Challenge Stallion Auction will be eligible to enter the 2010 Challenge Weanling Sweepstakes carrying $500 purse plus payback.
All purebred foals resulting from the use of services purchased at this auction are eigible to enter the Challenge Stallion Futurity Weanling class in 2010 and the Challenge Stallion Yearling Futurity classes in 2011.
