General Terms
Payment Terms - 50% of final bid due on knockdown of the service lot to the highest bidder. The remaining 50% to be paid by 1st November 2009 or before the mare is covered, whichever is the soonest.
Stallion owners may bid on their own horse.
Proxy bids will be accepted from an authorised agent. The absent bidder should provide their agent written authority to bid on their behalf. It is the responsibility of the absent bidder to ensure their agent has the ability to settle the deposit within 30minutes of knockdown. The AHAQ will act as authorised agent if required - please contact the undersigned to arrange details.
Proxy Bidders should complete the Authorisation form and forward to their agent - the form will be handed in at the time of a successful bid.
Winning bidders are liable for any normal charges associated with sending a mare to stud including agistment fees, vetinary services, handling fees, AI collection fees, Shipment fees, travel to and from the stud where the stallion is located.
Stallion owners to advise additional charges prior to auction.
Mare to be covered must be nominated on the Mare nomination form and postmarked no later than August 31st 2010.
It is the bidders responsibility to read the relevant Terms & Conditions relating to the auction as set out below.
